Tun (Dr.) Hajjah Rahah Tan Sri Haji Mohd Noah is the first Chancellor for Universiti Tun Abdul Razak, and her appointment was officiated on 18th August 2001, during the university's first Convocation ceremony. Tun Dr. Hajjah Rahah Tan Sri Haji Mohd Noah is the wife of the late Tun Haji Abdul Razak Tun Hussein, the second Prime Minister of Malaysia.

Tun Dr. Ahmad Sarji bin Abdul Hamid was appointed as the Pro-Chancellor of Universiti Tun Abdul Razak in 2003.

Born in Tapah, Perak, Tun Dr. Ahmad Sarji, 70, graduated with a B.A (Hons.) degree from the University of Malaya (1960); he received his Diploma in Public Administration from the Institute of Social Studies, The Hague (1967) and his Masters in Public Administration from Harvard University, United States of America (1971).

At the state level, he has held the post of District Officer (DO). At the Federal level, he has held several important positions as Assistant Secretary, Federal Establishment Office; Assistant Director (Services), Public Service Department and as Secretary to the Cabinet and Constitution Division when Tun Abdul Razak was Prime Minister. In 1973, he was appointed by the Prime Minister (Tun Abdul Razak bin Hussein) as the Founding Director-General of the Farmers' Organization Authority. He held the post until 1979.

In 1979 he was transferred to the Prime Minister's Department again to hold the position of Deputy Director-General (Sectoral), Economic Planning Unit; this time for two years. In 1981, he was appointed to the post of Deputy Chairman and the Director-General of Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA). In the same year, he was transferred to hold the position of Deputy Director General (I) Public Service Department, Malaysia.

He later took up the post of Secretary-General, Ministry of Trade and Industry in 1985 and as Chairman of the Malaysian Industrial Development Authority (MIDA). In 1990, Tun Dr. Ahmad Sarji was appointed to the highest position in the government service as Chief Secretary to the Government and at the same time, Secretary to the Cabinet and Head of the Civil Service. A prolific writer, Tun Ahmad Sarji has written several books on public service, management, the farmers' organisation, national development and national heritage.

He is presently the joint-chairman of the Malaysian Centre for Commonwealth Studies, Cambridge University and member of the Board of Trustees, Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies and a member of the Board of Governors of the Asian Institute of Management (AIM), Manila. He is also the Chairman of several organisations including Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB), the Institute of Islamic Understanding (IKIM) and Northport Corporation Berhad; and the President of Badan Warisan Malaysia (Heritage of Malaysia Trust). He was also Chairman of the Kongres Ekonomi Bumiputera Ke-3 (1992), and Chairman of the National Economic Consultative Council II (Ogos 1999 - November 2000).

Tun Dr. Ahmad Sarji's significant contributions in the field of public service in Malaysia have earned him many recognitions and awards, which include the Director of the Year 1999 award from the Malaysian Institute of Directors and the Tokoh Maal Hijrah Award 1420/1999 from the Federal Government.

In recognition of his many contributions in the public and corporate sectors, Tun Dr. Ahmad Sarji has been conferred honorary degrees by several foreign and local universities, including the Doctor of Science (Management) honorary degree from Universiti Utara Malaysia; Doctor of Business Administration from the Nottingham-Trent University; Doctor of Letters from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak; and Doctor in Management from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). The Asia Pacific Brands Foundation awarded him "TheBrandLaureate Brand Personality Award 2008" for his leadership in the fields of corporate and civil service.

To recognize his national service for more than 48 years, Tun Dr. Ahmad Sarji was conferred the Outstanding Malay Award during the 62nd anniversary celebration of UMNO, which was given by the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi. For his contribution in the development of sports particularly the sport of bowls (lawn bowling), Tun Dr. Ahmad Sarji was awarded the "Sports Leadership Award 2006" by the National Sports Council of Malaysia.

Tun Dr. Ahmad Sarji, was bestowed the "Seri Setia Mahkota Malaysia " (SSM), by Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin, on 7th June 2008, which carries the title "Tun".

Tan Sri Andrew Sheng Len Tao was appointed as the Pro-Chancellor of Universiti Tun Abdul Razak in 2008.

Tan Sri Andrew Sheng is the third holder of the prestigious Tun Ismail Ali Chair at the Faculty of Economics and Administration, University of Malaya. From October 1998 to September 2005, Tan Sri Andrew Sheng was the chairman of the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission.

He has published widely in monetary and financial issues. In 1998, he co-chaired the Working Party on Transparency and Accountability, one of the three Working Parties formed under the Group of Twenty-two Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors. In 1999, he chaired the Financial Stability Forum's Task Force on Implementation of Standards.

After training as a Chartered Accountant, Tan Sri Andrew started his career at Bank Negara Malaysia, where between 1976 - 1989, he has held various positions including Chief Economist and Assistant Governor in charge of Bank and Insurance Regulations. He has seconded to the World Bank, Washington, DC, as Senior Manager, Financial Markets and Payments Systems, Financial Sector Development Department from 1989 - 1993. He became the Deputy Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority from 1993 to 1998, responsible for the Reserves Management and External Departments. He was the Chairman of the Technical Committee of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) and International Securities regulation standard setter from October 2003 to September 2005. Since October 2003, he has been the Governor of International Council of Advisers to the China Banking Regulatory Commission. In March 2006, he was appointed as a member of the Governing Council for the International Centre for Education in Islamic Finance (INCEIF) and a member of the Board of the Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority. He was appointed as Director of Khazanah Nasional 22 July 2008.

In September 2005, he was awarded Sri Panglima Darjah Kinabalu (SPDK) by the Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sabah which carries the title "Datuk Seri Panglima".

Tan Sri Andrew Sheng is a justice of the peace, a chartered accountant, and holds a first class Honours Degree in Economics and Honorary Doctor of Law Degree from the University of Bristol, United Kingdom. He is also currently an Adjunct Professor at the University of Malaya and Graduate School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University, Beijing.

Tan Sri Andrew Sheng, was bestowed the "Darjah Panglima Setia Mahkota" (P.S.M.), by Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin, on 5th June 2010, which carries the title "Tan Sri".
