  Bachelor of Accounting (Hons) KP/JPS (A1598) 04/11

The Bachelor of Accounting (Hons) programme is a professional, as well as an academic programme that prepares students to serve in the industry as qualified accounting and finance executives. With post qualifying professional training, graduates could aspire to become members of distinguished professional accounting bodies.

In the conducive and flexible learning environment of Universiti Tun Abdul Razak, students will be are able to acquire knowledge and skills, as well as develop a professional attitude for a challenging career. A multi-disciplinary approach with relevant specialisations prepares the graduates for future needs in the industry. This programme has been accredited by Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA / LAN).



  • A pass STPM with 3 principals and a pass in Mathematics at SPM/SPMV/‘O’ Level; or

  • ‘A’ Levels, Matriculation, Foundation, Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) or Pre-university; or

  • Diploma from a Public or Private Higher Education Institution with a minimum standard required by Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA / LAN) or has been granted (MQA / LAN) accreditation or equivalent qualification which is recognised by the Malaysian Government; or

  • Certificate from a Polytechnic under the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia.

English Proficiency Requirement

Malaysian Students

Students who enroll into UNIRAZAK Bachelor's Degree programmes must fulfill the following English proficiency requirements:

  • Students who have a credit in the English Language at the SPM/SPMV level are required to take additional English courses, depending on the level of proficiency.
  • Students who do not have a credit in the English Language at the SPM/SPMV level are required to undergo the Intensive English Programme.
  • Students who have a distinction in the English Language at the SPM/SPMV level are not required to take additional English courses.

Additional charges will be imposed based on the English placement level.

Intensive English Programme

International Students

International students who enrol into UNIRAZAK programmes must fulfil the following English proficiency requirements:

  • Undergraduate Programmes - TOEFL score of 450 or IELTS band of 4

The validity period for TOEFL and IELTS is two (2) years from the date of the award.

Without the qualification mentioned above, International students are required to register for and pass a special Intensive English Programme (IEP). This programme will incur additional charges.

The programme requires a total of 131 credit hours of course work including one semester of practical training and four additional elective courses. It offers three areas of concentration: Finance, Muamalat Administration and Corporate Administration. Students are required to complete four courses in each of the concentrations.
