Bachelor of Information System (Hons) KPT/JPS (A7409) 08/12

Business processes in small-medium enterprises to huge multinational organizations inevitably demand strong information system support from data storage to server applications. In other words, information technology and business process are tightly coupled into a monolithic instrument so-called information system. For this reason, there is a need for the university to produce graduates who possess the knowledge of business functions and information technology. The Bachelor of Information System is developed based on the growing realisation of the importance and immense potential of computer information systems to an organisation. To implement information systems efficiently and effectively in an organisation, it requires the ability to analyse and understand organisation functions, processes, environment, characteristics and cultures. Information is a vital component for any organisation for decision-making, keeping track of resources and future planning.

The total number of credit hours for this programme is 122 credit hours for 3 years.
